Upon approval, you will receive an official welcome email containing your unique Membership Number and secure Login Details to access the member-only booking portal.

Membership Terms & Conditions

Sauna Rituals operates as a private, non-commercial wellness society. Access to our thermal and cold facilities is a privilege reserved exclusively for approved, registered Members. By submitting a membership application, you acknowledge that this is a private society and agree to the terms below.

Section X: Membership Contributions and Subscriptions

X.1 Nature of Funds: The Society is operated strictly on a non-commercial, private basis. All funds collected from Members are classified as membership contributions, subscriptions, or dues. These funds are used exclusively to cover the operational costs, maintenance, leasing, and administration of the Society's private facilities at The Hideout.

X.2 Facility Upkeep Contributions: To ensure fair access and cover the direct costs of operating the thermal and cold facilities (including water, heating fuel, and sanitation), Members must make a designated "Facility Upkeep Contribution" when reserving a private time slot.

X.3 Non-Refundable: All subscriptions and contributions are made for the collective benefit of the Society and are strictly non-refundable, regardless of a Member's frequency of facility use.

Section Y: Access and Usage of Society Facilities

Y.1 Private Access: Access to the Society's wellness facilities (including the sauna and cold plunge) is a privilege strictly reserved for approved, registered Members in good standing. The facilities are entirely closed to non-members. No walk-in access is permitted under any circumstances.

Y.2 Booking Protocol: Members may only access the facilities by making an advance reservation through the Society's official booking system.

Y.3 Guest Policy: A Member may occasionally invite a guest, provided the guest is registered in the Society's logbook prior to arrival. The hosting Member assumes full responsibility for their guest's conduct and must ensure the guest adheres to all Society rules. Guests may be required to pay a temporary "Guest Contribution."

Y.4 Right of Refusal: The Society's Office-Bearers or designated staff reserve the right to deny entry, suspend facility access, or revoke membership without notice if a Member violates the health, safety, or conduct guidelines of the Society.

Section Z: Health, Safety, and Assumption of Risk

Z.1 Medical Disclaimer: The Society's thermal and cold facilities are provided for general recreational purposes only. The Society does not provide medical advice, supervision, or therapy.

Z.2 Assumption of Risk: By utilizing the sauna and cold plunge, the Member acknowledges that exposure to extreme heat and cold carries inherent physiological risks, including but not limited to dizziness, fainting, or cardiovascular stress. The Member certifies that they are physically fit to use the facilities and do so entirely at their own risk.

Z.3 Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, the Member agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Society, its Founders, Office-Bearers, and the landlord (The Hideout) from any claims, injuries, damages, or liabilities arising from the Member's use of the facilities.
