Our Story

Sauna Rituals was born from a simple idea: Lantau's vibrant community of outdoor and nature enthusiasts deserved a proper place to recover and unwind. After countless years spent trail running, mountain biking, paddling the coastlines, and exploring the island, we realized that while Mui Wo had everything you needed to launch an adventure, there was nowhere to truly reset afterward.

Combining Finnish heritage and expertise in sauna design with a deep connection to the local community, we created Lantau's first private sauna and cold plunge facility. Located at The Hideout in Mui Wo, the venue perfectly embodies the secluded, restorative sanctuary we envisioned—offering a quiet refuge to detune from high-speed cityscapes and high-pressure jobs.
